Which adapters work?

ELM327 and STN based OBD-II adapters over Bluetooth Low Energy or WiFi. Cheap clones with firmware older than v1.5 are often unreliable; an OBDLink, vLinker or a similar quality adapter is recommended.

The app cannot connect to the adapter.

Switch the car on (ready mode), plug in the adapter, and allow Bluetooth and local network access when the app asks. For WiFi adapters, join the adapter's WiFi network first.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Only to add the GPS track, altitude and speed to sessions you record. It is never sent anywhere.

Is my car safe?

The app only reads data from the battery controller. It does not write to the car or clear codes.

My car is not supported.

Tell us the make, model and year. New cars are added as vehicle profiles, and logs from real cars help a lot.
